Coming up in April is the local comic convention known as Minicon. Although I have not attended this event before, I am told that it is a large event showcasing the latest in comics, pop media and science fiction and fantasy literature. The organizer assured me that it is about literature first - and I'm hoping that it'll be a fun filled event.
The event will be held April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of 2010.
